Ann-Kristin Crusius studied architecture in Wuppertal, Lisbon, and Tokyo, gaining a wide-ranging international background that continues to inform her work.

After several years of experience in various architecture offices, she has developed into a designer with an open and innovative mindset.

She has a particular passion for warm, natural materials that bring life and comfort into her projects.

With designs such as the Mobile Summer House, Ann-Kristin explores how architecture can rethink traditional ways of living and create innovative, flexible spaces for modern life.

Her work combines a sensitivity to materiality with a curiosity for alternative design approaches, always aiming to connect functionality, comfort, and sustainability.

Today, Ann-Kristin lives in Haarlem with her Chilean husband and their two children.

Her daily life — balancing different cultures, family, and work — enriches her perspective and fuels her passion for creating architecture that is both thoughtful and practical, rooted in people’s everyday needs.
